Shift toward internal management consultancy (IMC) practices to adapt the enterprise architecture (EA) function’s service model. Figure 1 highlights an EA service catalog that, when put into practice, requires resources to work collaboratively to deliver targeted services aligned with an EA value proposition, based on enterprise-level priorities. Trends in the EA space show that services and activities in those services — such as digital business strategy and product-centric operating model orchestration — are being prioritized over such services as solution delivery support. Service model changes should be made prior to or along with operating model changes to ensure effective delivery.
